LLONAZAMORA

Llonazamora is an architecture and landscape studio that has been based in Lima, Perú since 2009. Its directors are Peruvian architect Michelle Llona R. and Chilean architect Rafael Zamora P. It is a design team that works with projects of different scales, where the main intention is to propose simple solutions in order to investigate the possibilities of the site, the rationality of the floor plan and the relationship between the material and its constructive truth.

Their projects have been published in different magazines from Perú, Chile, Colombia and South Korea, architectural websites and they have been presented in public conferences such as “A35: Young Architects Congress” and “Green Pecha Kucha”, which took place during the COP20 Conference. Also, they have participated in several architecture competitions, being awarded first prize in the following ones: “Ideas for Interventions in the Archeological Site of Machupicchu” (2014); “The Urban House Eternit” (2011) and the “National Competition of Architectural Quality” in the category of temporary housing (2010).
