Series 02 – Fotografías firmadas

Archive Roberto y Fernando Luna

The photographs featured in Series 02 – Signed Photographs come from the Roberto and Fernando Luna archive. These images were scanned in recent years and bear the digital stamp “Roberto y Fernando Luna”—a mark likely added at the request of Fernando Luna prior to his passing in 2018, possibly in preparation for an exhibition.

This series includes some of the most iconic photographs of Francisco Artigas’s work in El Pedregal, such as the Sales Pavilion (the only black-and-white image in the series and the first commission Artigas gave to Roberto Luna, marking the beginning of their long-standing collaboration), Casa del Risco, Casa Bustamante, and others. These panoramic compositions capture modernist steel-and-glass volumes either floating atop rugged lava rock formations or carefully integrated into lush, sculpted gardens.
