As part of LIGA 41: Unidad Vecinal, by Departamento del Distrito, a public program was developed with a series of activities aimed at activating the installation through dialogue, collaboration, and community building.

Talk with Infraestudio

On August 13, a conversation was held in collaboration with Infraestudio, featuring Fernando Martirena, Carlos Bedoya, and Diego Borrel. The discussion centered on the discipline’s relationship to the exhibition The Space of the Text: Archive of Idealist Architecture in the Panoptic Prison of Cuba, fostering a space for collective reflection.

Shared Dinner

On July 24, the Unidad Vecinal installation became the setting for a Shared Dinner. Each participant brought food to create a communal table, encouraging an atmosphere of conviviality, collaboration, and exchange. The evening evolved into a moment of community, where dialogue and collective experience took center stage.

Movie Night

On August 21, the installation was transformed into a collective forum for a Movie Night, with a screening of Unfinished Spaces (USA, 2011). The activity turned the space into a site of encounter and shared reflection on architecture. We are grateful to Bullfrog Films, as well as Alysa Nahmias and Ben Murray for their support in making this event possible.
