To celebrate the last day of the exhibition LIGA 31 “Hydrographic Auscultation Circuit” by Panósmico we screened two movies related to water in urban areas: “Exquisite Corpse” and “H2OMx”

“Exquisite Corpse” (Directed by Kerry Tribe, USA, 2016, 51min) follows the path of the LA River through its 51 miles of canal to its mouth in the Pacific Ocean. The film shows the landscapes, neighborhoods, as well as the creatures and communities that inhabit it through encounters that collectively describe the position of the LA River at this point in its history.

“H2OMx” (Directed by Lorenzo Hagerman y José Cohen, Mexico, 2014, 75min) is a documentary feature film that expose the problem of water supply in Mexico City. Winner of the Ariel 2015 for Best Documentary Feature.

José Cohen joined us for Q&A after the screening.
