The images I present of Max Borges’ work aim to emphasize the formal beauty of the details. The white and black accentuates the contrast between light and shadows, something inherent to the volumetry of spaces in the Modern Movement.
The use of the analog format and black & white, associated with historical photography, also establishes a relationship between the act of rediscovering Borges’ work and revealing its unfortunate condition, which nonetheless retains its beauty.
